Substations
Our distribution substations are subdivided into container-sized modules, which can be manufactured, assembled, and tested at the factory, allowing easy transport and fast installation and commissioning at the site.
The pre-fabricated building shelters the equipment from environmental influences, thus increasing substation availability and reliability. Fences can be omitted, which simplifies permitting while enhancing the substation’s aesthetic appearance.
The customized and compact solutions have a small footprint and include ready-to-connect primary and secondary cabling with plug-type contacts. Applications range from small distribution systems to the integration of renewable generation. Fast erection and dismantling also makes them easy to relocate and well-suited for usage as auxiliary substation during the repair or maintenance of existing primary substations
These factory-assembled and -tested solutions are ideally suited for permanent or semi-permanent usage. These include grid integration of renewable sources, power supply to urban areas, railways, offshore rigs, mining and exploration sites, and other industrial operations.
Configurations are customized, spanning from a line bay to a complete H substation and comply with local grid codes and standards. The scope of supply covers the complete assembly which may include:
- Auxiliary systems including batteries and battery chargers, fire detection systems, heating, air conditioning, etc.
- Power transformers
- AIS, GIS or hybrid switchgear
- Protection and control equipment
