African Electrical Suppliers have power LV distribution and lighting solutions for the mining & construction industry. This is an improved and with higher current and voltage ranges than the older Gully Boxes System in the current mining/construction market. Our system can support 360v - 1kv and up to 300A. T-Box Isolator is the base enclosure providing a joint for cables while providing downstream and local Isolation. Optional portable enclosures can be mounted on either or both sides.

Our distribution substations are subdivided into container-sized modules, which can be manufactured, assembled, and tested at the factory, allowing easy transport and fast installation and commissioning at the site. The pre-fabricated building shelters the equipment from environmental influences, thus increasing substation availability and reliability. Low Voltage Switchgear low-voltage switchgear is a low-voltage switchgear assembled by a factory (FBA) using standard modules. It is suitable for power supply and distribution systems with AC 60 (50) Hz, rated working voltages ≤ 1000V and rated working current of 6300A and below. Used for electric energy distribution, conversion, control and reactive power compensation.

The Compact Mini Sub-Stations with IP6X rating are in a standard configuration with an MV section, a Transformer section, and Low Voltage Section with all the necessary protection devices for the equipment and the personnel that operates this equipment.  The voltage and current required by the customer will also determine the physical size of these compact substations to the customer's requirement. The construction of the Mini Sub-Station will follow international standards for Mining, Tunnelling, and Construction section with the necessary certification as and when needed.
